Pacific Autism Center has taken step to ensure the highest quality programs are available.
Following the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a scientifically researched and empirically validated treatment method. We use the assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS) and The Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP). Functional Language is taught using a systematic approach. Children’s progress is measured with date collection and procedures are research based. We follow Skinner’s Analysis of Verbal Behavior.
Each child entering the program will be at a different level. Based on the level and the child’s particular needs, determinations will be made concerning the number of inclusion and group skills to be worked on versus their need for 1:1 therapy. The early intervention plan typically consists of intensive treatment in which basic skills are taught in the beginning of services including social, language and academic skills are taught in the final years.
