Pacific Autism Center regularly recruits staff to work as behavior therapists. We have many levels of clinical staff and are happy to work with more experienced staff to determine where they may fit into our system. Pacific Autism Center staff are highly sought after due to the quality training they receive. All of our staff have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree, with many who have already obtained a Masters Degree, or are continuing their education towards this goal. Pacific Autism Center has multiple therapist levels, and upward mobility and training are a focus for our staff. After all, how can you do a job you have not been sufficiently trained to do? Clinical Supervisor Position in VB Clinic – OPEN NOW! Clinical Supervisor – Honolulu, Hawaii Pacific Autism Center is a unique opportunity to step into a true VB run clinic with superior supervision and oversight opportunities. Pacific Autism Center is looking for a Clinical Supervisor with their BCBA, however we would reconsider added responsibilities and position shift for a PhD level behavior analyst. We have many wonderful aspects of our program that we would like to maintain. We seek a Behavior Analyst who has the capabilities to continue this program and to adapt to the changing needs of our clients. A few key aspects to our clinic: • A solid, effective ABA/VB program, individualized for each child. To maintain this, an applicant should be experienced in VB MAPP, ABLLS-R, ITT, NET, and a history of conducting the evaluations, constructing individualized programs based on the evaluations, training staff to implement the programs and refining the programs as needed. • A very controlled environment, enabling a large range of possible environmental manipulations. Applicants should have some experience working in an environment that is constructed and manipulated almost exclusively from an ABA/VB position. • An established and effective system to train employees from a direct care position up to a certified behavior analyst. To maintain this, an applicant should have experience training ABA/VB programs and training and supervising someone from a direct care position up to a behavior analyst. • A group of dedicated and motivated employees, all very interested in developing their skills in ABA/VB. To maintain this, an applicant should be passionate about ABA/VB. • An effective and humane crisis intervention system for managing severe problem behavior. We use PCM and have a PCM Certified Trainer on staff. Job Description: Job Requirements: Education: Masters or Higher Experience: Have at least 6 years experience in the field of Behavior Analysis and supervising at least 15 clinicians. Skill Based Requirements: 3. Able to effectively Train Staff. Extensive experience in training direct care staff. Ability to train upcoming supervisors, shaping their behaviors and increasing their skills with the program development and behavior plans. Train direct care staff to implement the programs and share with parents the future direction and progress clients have made. Ability to train parents and work with other service providers. Must have extensive knowledge in ABA and have to ability to teach others and meet their learning needs. 4. Excellent Communicator. Effective communicator both written and verbally with parents, coworkers, therapists, and all levels of administration. 5. BCBA Supervision: Have experience in effectively providing supervision for employees who are seeking to achieve certification as a Behavior Analyst. One must be able to take responsibility in developing the prospective Behavior Analyst skills in all areas and be willing to sign their hours and that they meet our rigorous standards. Our goal is to not just turn out Behavior Analysts, but to ensure they are taught the skills to be able to become an effective and highly skilled BCBA in the field. We recognize not everyone will have all these requirements but we are hoping to get a candidate that has a majority of these skills and experience.
