ABA Classroom

Pacific Autism Center recently started a new program with the idea of trying to offer a less expensive option to parents who are trying to obtain an ABA program for their child. The option is what we call our ABA Classroom. This is a small group of children, anywhere from 2 to 4 students, working on similar programs in a more naturalistic setting (NET style) than may be done in a 1:1 format. The children are highly motivated to be successful and are learning at an accelerated rate.

The therapists run programs that all the students benefit from at their own levels. The therapy is based on a team approach and is individualized for each child’s strengths and weaknesses. All children have data taken on their programs and their progress is determined by the data taken as well as their generalization of newly taught targets.

So far, the program is very successful and with ensuring that each child is the right fit for the program, we will continue to see huge gains with these children. We hope to do research and solidify these findings to assist the autism community in being able to access less expensive options when it is in the best interest of the child. With this program there are prerequisites, so if you are interested, please e-mail us at inquire@pacificautismcenter.com or call us at 808-523-8188 and we will set up a time for you to visit the center.
